Alpha Baltic Sport, which is the sport event organizer, is a subsidiary of the marketing communication agency Alpha Baltic. The goals of Alpha Baltic Sport are to organize international marathons and to take the leadership of the organizations of respective sports in Baltic’s and in the whole Europe.

In season 2010 Alpha Baltic Sport organized 3 major sports competitions in Jurmala. In 2011 already six international competitions will be held – distance skiing, cycling, rollerblading and running. Some of the marathons arranged by Alpha Baltic Sports that will take place in summer 2011 are included in international calendars and some of the sports marathons carry Latvian Championship status.
